Kay's Flower School reserves the right to cancel workshops or courses at any time, however, we will make every possible effort to inform participants of any changes made to the curriculum.
Students who miss any part of their course will where possible, be given the opportunity to complete the missed section/s on another course, provided there are places available. The Fee to complete these days must be paid in advance to ensure your place

All mobile phones must be switched OFF or on silent during their classes.
No smoking, but free to slip outside at anytime for a quick smoke.
Kay's Flower School opens at 9.40 am and day courses finish at 3.30pm approximate.
We stop for a ten-minute break in the morning and 30-minute break for lunch and FREE Tea/Coffee and biscuits served
Parking in front of the shops is DISC PARKING, however in front of the Bird Flanagan Pub there's free parking. (Please do not block people’s driveways)
Places are not confirmed until we receive a receipt of your deposit.
Deposits are non-refundable, however if a course is cancelled two weeks in advance, the deposit can be transferred to the next available date.
Balance for a course fee must be paid on the morning of the course commencement by either cash or a bank draft.
Missed classes will not be accommodated and students have to pay to attend any days they missed.
Places are limited so early booking is advisable.
To preserve flowers, the classroom is kept cool, (Not freezing) so warm casual clothing is advisable.
Handouts are provided: Students need a notebook, pen and markers, a camera, folders and plastic sleeves to protect your notes. Florist scissors are available at Kay's for Euro 13.
Students are advised to take plenty of step-by-step photos of their finished designs to add to their portfolios.
Students are free to ask question during class or students who have completed a course may avail of our backup phone or email service.
To gain the full benefit from a course, it's necessary for students to do a little homework and look over notes and copy out the diagrams each evening.
We recommend students to purchase small quantity of sundries items (ribbons, wires, tape) so they can practice their displays at home.
At the end of your course you will also receive FREE support if your have any further questions.
Kay's Flower School has a casual approach to teaching that allows students to relax and enjoy their course and remember all their displays are theirs to take home to sell to friends or family or just to be admired by everyone.
